Pytch is now available in German!

We are delighted to announce that Pytch is now available in German!

Pytch helps learners make the move from block-based coding, such as Scratch, to Python programming. Students can create their own games, animations and other projects while learning to code in Python.

With Pytch now available in German, students and teachers can enjoy the same creative coding experience in their own language.

Using Pytch in German 🇩🇪

Getting started is easy!

When you open Pytch, you’ll find a language picker in the top-left corner of the application. Simply select Deutsch from the language picker and start using Pytch in German!

The Pytch Help sidebar is also fully translated into German, giving learners access to guidance and explanations in their own language as they develop their Python programming skills.

We’re also delighted to announce that the Jumping and Smooth Movement demos are now available in German. These demos provide more opportunities for learners to explore different coding techniques and put their new skills into practice.

Pytch in German Classrooms 🏫

We’re delighted that Pytch is already being used by students in 10th-grade computer science classes at Luisengymnasium Bergedorf, a highschool in Hamburg, Germany.

We’re particularly grateful to Torge Bärenz, a teacher at Luisengymnasium Bergedorf, for his valuable feedback on Pytch.

We hope the new German-language version will encourage more teachers and students to explore Python programming with Pytch.

Making creative coding accessible to more learners 🌍

The German-language version follows our recent launch of Pytch in Irish, as we continue to make Pytch available to more learners.

We hope our German-speaking users enjoy exploring Pytch and creating their own games and projects!

Willkommen bei Pytch! We can’t wait to see what you create.
